Be a holiday hero! It’s the season of giving, and there’s no better gift you can give than life-saving blood donations. With appointment cancellations due to illness and busy schedules, this is a particularly difficult time to collect blood for local patients.
Because all good deeds deserve great rewards, we have some special offers for donors during the holiday season.
- Donate December 18 – December 31 and be automatically entered into our $3,000 Grocery Drawing. You could win an e-gift card for Whole Foods, Safeway, Target, Walmart, or even food delivery services like Instacart, Uber Eats or DoorDash.
- Plus, every donor will get 2000 bonus points to spend in the Stanford Blood Center Loyalty Store on a $20 e-gift card or other great items like t-shirts, drinkware, pet toys and more.
By donating blood, individuals make a substantial difference, as each donation can save multiple lives, making it a truly impactful act of kindness. Give the gift of life this holiday season and help us ensure that patients have the blood they need to recover and thrive.
Appointments can be made online at sbcdonor.org, via the SBC app, or by calling 888-723-7831 or texting to 999-777.
Donors should be in good health with no cold, flu, or COVID-19 symptoms. Be sure to eat well prior to donation, drink fluids, and bring a photo ID. Donors must be at least 17 years of age (or 16 with a parent or guardian’s consent). Eligibility information can be found at stanfordbloodcenter.org/eligibility or by calling 888-723-7831.
