Stanford Blood Center (SBC) has announced that its South Bay Donation Center at 295 E. Hamilton Avenue in Campbell will reopen on Wednesday, August 13. Please note that the temporary site at 50 E. Hamilton Avenue will be closed on Tuesday, August 12 to allow for equipment to be moved.
The reopening comes at an especially crucial time. Type O- blood has reached critical levels, with an urgent need for all other blood types as well. As a special thank-you for donors this month, SBC is giving out a limited-edition San Francisco Giants and Stanford Blood Center co-branded jersey, seen here.
