SAN JOSE, Calif. — December 9, 2025 —This holiday season, Stanford Blood Center (SBC) and the San Jose Sharks are teaming up to spread cheer and save lives through their annual “Save a Life” Blood Drive, taking place Saturday, December 20, at SAP Center at San Jose.
This cherished Sharks community tradition brings together hundreds of donors and fans each year to help patients in need during one of the most critical times for the blood supply. The holiday season often leads to a drop in donations due to travel, illness, and busy schedules, but the need for blood is constant.
"The ‘Save a Life’ Blood Drive truly embodies the spirit of the season,” said Elisa Manzanares, SBC account manager. “Every donation is a gift that has the power to bring hope, healing, and even a second chance at life to someone in our community. We’re so grateful to the Sharks and their fans for coming together once again to make such a lifesaving impact.”
Each donor who comes to the drive on December 20 will earn 1,000 bonus points, plus be entered into multiple exciting drawings for the San Jose Sharks vs. Columbus Blue Jackets game on Tuesday, January 6, 2026:
